Newport Beach Film Festival: The Asian Showcase

The 13th Annual Newport Beach Film Festival will consist of 400 films from 50 countries across the globe with more than 30,000 annual attendees. The Asian Showcase with a spotlight on Chinese, Japanese, and Korean films will be held on April 30 of the film festival. This specific showcase will feature films such as “The Woman Knight of Mirror Lake,” “My Way,” and “I Wish.” The Newport Beach Film Festival was first established in 1999 with a mission to show independent films from around the world. The film festival takes place in Newport Beach, CA; this year the event is set to take place at Fashion Island from April 26 through May 3. There will be international spotlights covering the Pacific Rim, European, and Latino foreign films.
